Tuna Salad Recipe

Doctors and nutritionists alike praise tuna for being rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These essential “healthy” fats have been linked to heart health, good brain and eye function as well as assisting in the control of chronic inflammation. This is a SUPER simple, super tasty tuna-based meal that can be whipped up in just a few moments notice.

Ingredients
6 oz tuna fish, canned, in water
1/4 cup dried dill weed
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
2 Tbsp light mayonnaise
2 Tbsp plain low fat yogurt
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp chopped green onions
6 pieces of celery strips approximately 4″ long

Directions
1. Drain the tuna.
2. In a small bowl, mix with the light mayonnaise, yogurt, dill, parsley, and Dijon mustard.
3. Serve chilled on celery sticks. Sprinkle with green onions.
