Taco Salad Recipe
Here’s a great take on a quick and easy favorite that’s full of flavor and low on calories!
Makes One Serving
280 calories • 11g fat • 9g carbs • 2g fiber • 27g protein
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup romaine lettuce
1 small Compari tomato
2 Tbsp. diced onion
3 oz. 95% lean ground beef or ground turkey
½ oz. fat free cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. fat free ranch dressing
2 Tbsp. salsa
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl mix ranch dressing and salsa. Set aside.
In a saute pan cook meat until well done. Season with taco seasoning and a tiny bit of water. Set aside.
Toss lettuce, tomato and onion together. Top with taco meat and cheese. Dress with ranch and salsa mix.
