WHAT IS A RENUVION® J PLASMA NECK LIFT?
Renuvion J-Plasma is a skin tightening and body contouring technique that uses helium to cause tissues to contract, and also triggers the formation of new collagen. J-Plasma is a very high-tech, minimally invasive treatment that greatly improves the appearance of saggy skin in nearly every area of the body, offering particularly significant results as a non-surgical neck lift.
DO I NEED THE RENUVION® J-PLASMA NECK LIFT PROCEDURE ONLY OR COMBINED WITH SMARTLIPO LIPOSUCTION?
Renuvion J-Plasma can be performed as a stand-alone procedure for patients who have neck laxity but no excess fat or fat bulge. For those who do not want or do not quite need a surgical neck lift, Renuvion helps to tighten the skin without an extensive surgery, additional risks and lengthy downtime.
For those with excess fat in the jowls or neck, Dr. Bloy frequently performs the Renuvion skin tightening procedure in conjunction with liposuction for optimal results. The liposuction reduces excess fat below the chin and around the neck, while the Renuvion J-Plasma technology tightens the skin. This provides remarkable improvements to the neck contours without traditional neck lift surgery.
WHAT IS THE RENUVION® NECK LIFT RECOVERY?
Renuvion J-Plasma does not add any extra recovery time to a typical liposuction procedure. After your Renuvion J-Plasma neck lift, you will experience mild inflammation, warmth, mild tenderness and you may experience light bruising anywhere from 7-14 days. None of this is expected to interfere with normal daily living. Tylenol is recommended to alleviate any mild discomfort. This is to be expected and will resolve itself quickly over the next days and weeks. The tissue was just treated and stimulated to begin tightening and regrowing more youthful tissue.
You may be given the same post-operation garments to wear that a liposuction procedure would require, and you should be able to resume light activities, sedentary work, and short walks at home the next day.

RENUVION® J-PLASMA NECK LIFT RESULTS
You will be able to see some of the results from your Renuvion J-Plasma neck lift within 1 – 2 weeks—as soon as the inflammation has gone down.
There is typically significant and continued improvement in the tightness of the neck within 1 month of the procedure, and the helium energy will continue to trigger the production of new collagen over the next 3 – 6 months, resulting in a tighter, more youthful appearance of the neck.

The Renuvion Neck Lift cost depends on the size of the area of laxity, which can range from the jowls, under chin, front of the neck to the entire neck and chin area. Pricing also depends on whether you need liposuction in the area to smooth and remove excess fat that is contributing to the sagging and laxity. IS THE RENUVION® NECK LIFT COVERED BY HEALTH INSURANCE?
Renuvion and the combined Renuvion Liposuction treatment are never covered by health insurance. This treatment is considered cosmetic and is not considered medically necessary. Although health insurance does not cover this treatment, we do accept CareCredit medical financing for payment. CareCredit often has 0% financing terms and we can help you find out what options are available to you.
CONSULTATION AND CONSULTATION FEE
There is a required consultation to discuss Renuvion and determine if Renuvion is right for you and your goals. The consultation appointment consists of the provider meeting with you to learn about your goals, exam the areas of concern, evaluate your medical and surgical history, review any medications, conditions, or illness that may be contraindications, discuss the procedure, aftercare, downtime and likely results, and help you decide if Renuvion and or SmartLipo is an appropriate treatment for you.
The consultation fee is $150. If you are consulting for SmartLipo and Renuvion, the one fee covers the consultation for both at the one visit.
