Turkey Burger Recipe

For most people, burgers are a summertime staple. Here’s a recipe you can fire up on the grill for a summertime meal that won’t cost you crazy calories!


1½ lb ground turkey
½ cup chopped yellow onion
2 tsp whole cumin
1 tsp coriander
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder


1. Add onions and spices to the ground turkey, then mix with spatula or clean hands.
2. Form mixture into six 4-oz patties.
3. Place on grill (or in nonstick skillet) and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Additional Notes

For a low-carb alternative to the usual bun, try wrapping your burger in crispy lettuce leaves!
