Skinny General Tso’s Chicken Recipe

All the taste of this classic sweet and spicy Chinese dish, with none of the guilt!

3/4 cup 99% fat free chicken broth
2 Tbsp Splenda®
2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
2 chopped green onions
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the broth, Splenda®, soy sauce, vinegar, and ginger. Set aside.
2. Cut chicken into 2-inch pieces and set aside.
3. Spray a wok or large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat.
4. Add scallions, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for two minutes.
5. Add chicken and cook until brown, or about 5 minutes.
6. Add remainder of sauce and simmer until sauce slightly thickens and chicken is cooked thoroughly, or about 3 minutes.
