Supporting Your Cellular Health

$175 Mega

Glutathione IV Infusion is designed to help keep you vibrant and healthy at the cellular level. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that’s made in the body’s cells. Its levels decrease as a result of aging, stress, and toxin exposure.  Boosting glutathione may provide many health benefits, including reduction of oxidative stress. It is involved in metabolism of toxins and carcinogens, DNA synthesis and repair, protein and prostaglandin synthesis, amino acid transport, immune system function, prevention of oxidative cell damage, and enzyme activation.

Possible Benefits:

Reduces Oxidative Stress – Oxidative stress occurs when there’s an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the body’s ability to fight them off. Too-high levels of oxidative stress may be a precursor to multiple diseases. These include diabetes, cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis. Glutathione helps stave off the impact of oxidative stress, which may, in turn, reduce disease.

May help psoriasis

May reduce respiratory disease symptoms

May help fight against autoimmune disease

Reduces symptoms of Parkinson’s disease

Reduces cell damage in alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

Improves insulin resistance in older individuals

What’s in it?

  • IV Fluids

Hydration reverses effects of dehydration and hydrates fully for optimal cellular function.

  • Glutathione

This is an antioxidant produced in cells of the liver as well as by neurons in the central nervous system. Glutathione, also known as GSH, is a molecule found naturally in your body. It’s comprised largely of three amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cysteine. Glutathione levels in the body may be reduced by a number of factors, including poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress. Its levels also decline with age. IV Glutathione provides an optimizing amount of this powerful antioxidant.

Recommended Frequency

As occasionally desired, 1x / month, 1x / week, or as often as 2-3x / week

To treat symptoms of chronic conditions: 2-3x / week for 6+ weeks, then maintain well-being with an infusion 1x / week or 2-3x / month

L-Glutathione, or simply glutathione, is a powerful antioxidant made of amino acids. Combined together, amino acids make up the proteins within the body. Unlike most antioxidants, glutathione can be made within the liver. This helps in the process of fat metabolism. Glutathione has many functions within the body. Some of these include supporting immune function, forming sperm cells, fighting free radicals, helping with certain enzyme functions, and making DNA. Glutathione is not only created naturally by the liver, but it is also found in fruits, vegetables, and meats. Glutathione can be given orally, intravenously (IV), intramuscularly, and as an inhalant. Supplementally, glutathione can be taken in the treatment and prevention of cataracts, glaucoma, aging, alcoholism, cancer, heart disease, liver disease, lung disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, osteoarthritis, diseases that breakdown the body’s immune system, and many more.

Glutathione is indicated in those with heart, liver, and lung disease. Other health issues include anemia, cystic fibrosis, cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cataracts, glaucoma, aging, alcoholism, hepatitis, memory loss, AIDS, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoarthritis, and infertility in men.

 Side Effects:

Glutathione is seen as possibly safe for most adults. When taken as an inhalant, glutathione may cause difficulty breathing.

Glutathione is contraindicated in those with asthma, due to the possibility of increasing its symptoms. There is not enough information on taking this medication in women who are pregnant or breast-feeding, therefore use is not advised.

Glutathione may interact with some medications. It is always important to list any medications, supplements, or herbal products you may be taking for your doctor.

Additional Information

Detoxification: Glutathione is an essential molecule required for detoxification. Glutathione acts by assisting the body’s machinery in the removal of harmful destructive oxygen containing molecules.

During the body’s normal functioning an excess of oxygen containing molecules are produced, these molecules are typically very reactive with other molecules they come in contact with. In modern biochemistry these are referred to as reactive O2 species.

Reactive O2 species molecules include peroxide (H2O2) and superoxide anions (O2 with unpaired electron) these molecules are very toxic to the cell. The toxicity can be explained by the tendency of these molecules to bind or destroy important biomolecules.

The body has a natural system to remove these reactive O2 species. These systems metabolize and scavenge for reactive oxygen species, in a controlled and precise fashion.

Immune Function: Glutathione plays a significant role in immune function. It encourages the T-cell function that’s essential for a healthy immune system and protects from environmental toxins.

Glutathione is essential in a broad range of metabolic processes:

•Glutathione acts to neutralize a toxic metabolic byproduct: Methylglyoxal

•Glutathione is involved in the protein disulfide bond rearrangement that is necessary for the synthesis of one third of the body’s proteins

•It protects the body from the oxidative damage caused by glutathione peroxidase by acting as a helper molecule for certain enzymes

•The liver uses Glutathione to help detoxify fats before the gallbladder emits bile, supporting healthy digestion

Detoxification: Glutathione may also be crucial in the removal and detoxification of carcinogens, and according to recent studies alterations in this metabolic pathway, can influence cell survival profoundly.

Glutathione may be responsible for several vital roles within a cell:

•Maintenance of the redox

•Modulation of the immune response

•Detoxification of foreign bacteria and viruses

Chronic Disease: Research has demonstrated that glutathione deficiency may be a factor in many chronic conditions; HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, asthma, different cancers, cataracts, macular degeneration, open angle glaucoma, diabetes, and many diseases of the liver, kidneys, lungs, and digestive system.

Depletion Due to Aging and Alcohol Consumption: Glutathione plays a major role in the detoxification of ethanol (consumed as alcoholic beverages) and people who routinely drink will experience Glutathione depletion. Aging is another factor; as the body ages glutathione levels may drop below the level necessary to maintain healthy immune function (among other processes).

Other factors that can deplete levels of Glutathione:

•Benzopyrenes (tobacco smoke, fuel exhaust, etc.)

•Household chemicals (detergents, fabric softeners, air fresheners, mothballs, cleaners, bleach, etc.)

Artherosclerosis: In one study, ten patients with artherosclerosis were administered glutathione which resulted in a significant increase in blood filtration, in addition to a significant decrease in blood viscosity and platelet aggregation. Consequently, Glutathione infusion was determined to be an effective method of decreasing blood viscosity while increasing blood filtration.

Aesthetic Skin Effects: In a three-month study of female subjects, the women taking Glutathione showed significantly improved skin elasticity and amelioration of wrinkles compared to test subjects who received a placebo
